USS Holder Association's 28th Annual Reunion

The USS Holder shipmates (from the ships DE-401, DD-819, and DDE-8199) met for their 28th reunion to tell more sea stories, at the Sheraton Park Ridge Hotel and Conference Center in Philadelphia/King of Prussia, PA.

1500 - 1800 - Check-in, Welcome Aboard! Hospitality room opens.

Friday, 20 October 2006

0900 - Board busses for trip to Penn's Landing, Independence Seaport Museum area, and tour of Historic Philadelphia.

1030 - Memorial Service at Seaport area.

1230 - Lunch, on your own, at Reading Terminal Market.

1330 - Walking tour of Historic area, bus tour through Society Hill with pause at Rocky's famous stairs at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

1700 -   Social evening in the hospitality room.

Saturday, 21 October 2006

1145 - Trip by bus for Lancaster Tour.

1315 - 1415 - Lunch and shopping at Kitchen Kettle Village, lunch on your own.

1430/1530 - Visit Amish Farm and House.  

1530 - 1700 - Back Country Tour.

1700 - 1830 -  Shady Maple Restaurant for dinner.   Return to hotel

1200 - 1630 -   Trip to Longwood Gardens.  

1830 -   Banquet - take pictures, dinner, and entertainment by the Mummers String Band.
