After check-in we will have heavy snacks the first night.
Starts out with a 3 hour guided tour along both sides of the river and down- town Cincinnati with 3 stops at local attractions. Then on to the Hofbrauhaus for a German themed lunch and entertainment.
We take the Last Bus to Clarksville, for you Beatle fans, to Bonney Brook Farm where we can hay ride to the river, tour the working barn, play Clodhopper Golf, (miniature golf farm style), target practice with giant slingshots and bean bags or just laze about in the gift shop and pavilion. Then a farm style BBQ dinner followed by fire pits and S’mores before we head back to the hotel.
We will have a Memorial Service for shipmates lost this past year. It will be held at the World Peace Bell Park, where we will ring the 33 ton bell which was a gift from France to celebrate Y2K (year 2000). Then on to lunch, entertainment and a 3 mile tour of the River.
Free time for the rest of the day.
We will hold our business meeting to select future reunion sites.
Rest and visiting in the afternoon
Our final night dinner with a beef, chicken and hopefully a vegetarian selection (still working on that). Highlight of the evening will be our world famous raffle, and pictures for a memory book.
